Reasons to visit The Lake District || Gillams Tearoom

I've already mentioned that my Aunty has a fabulous B&B in The Lakes which I repeatedly love to photograph as seen here. On our way home from our last visit me and mum decided to stop off at Ulverston. It's a little oldè worldè type village with lots of history and extremely cute & independent shops. It's easy to kill a few hours wandering around the little side streets whilst calling in the antique, home-wear and clothing shops.

In need a cuppa . . . and cake of course, we stopped at Gillams tea room. We chose to sit in the flowery yard around the back of the tea-room, up a flight of stairs and situated amongst the rooftops. Drenched in flowers and greenery, it was a beautiful spot to soak up the sun.

Next time your travelling around the Lake Districts beautiful countryside, call in and try out their insanely delicious home made chocolate brownie with a cup of their own brand loose leaf tea :-)

Capsule Summer Wardrobe // Spring Summer 2017

2017 has been a pastel take over at my e-boutique.
The pastel alphabet phone cases are a particularly popular item that appears to transcend all seasons.
In preparation of my holiday I've needed a quick high street hit to accompany my accessories.

The sale at h&m has been the minimal and muted answer to my holiday capsule wardrobe. Mixed with the help of a few independent labels (that I stalk on Instagram) to boost my minimal purchases, Ethel & Mo has the most fabulous boho embroidered pieces. The Mika tassel blouse is the most well structured and beautiful item I have added to my wardrobe this year.
So here is my slightly personal summer lookbook, crafted and photographed whilst packing for my holiday to Turkey.
